Murphy bed kit is a folding bed patented by American inventor William Murphy around 1900. This space-saving bed folds into a wall, wardrobe or cupboard and lowers to sleep. Murphy beds are popular in efficiency apartments, hotel rooms and bedrooms as twice as home office or any other place. Other styles of beds offer the same space-saving benefits of Murphy beds and can be cheaper alternatives.
Beds like furniture
If you want furniture that has double, choose sofas, love chairs chairs and even Osman that converts to beds. Converting the furniture usually means removing the best pillows and pulling out a folding mattress and frame. You must have enough space in the room to fold up the bed, and to make up the bed with sheets, blankets and pillows after you unfold it. Choose an armchair or sofa for a small bed for one person. If you have more space, you can choose a sofa that makes up in a full or queen bed.
Beds blown with an electric or hand-operated air pump are easy to store and can provide a comfortable place to rest. Inflatable beds are up to one foot thick and are available as full and queen size mattresses. The beds must be emptied for storage, even if they can be supported against a wall to get them out of the way for a few days. They are not as comfortable as Murphy beds or convertible furniture, but they are very cheap and portable. You can take them with you on a journey in a container the size of a small suitcase.
